Will you help Queen’s seek out and inspire talented young people who would most benefit from an Oxford education?
Founded in 1341 to bring bright young students from the North West of England to Oxford, Queen’s championed ‘access’ to education long before it became a widespread concern. We are proud to be continuing that tradition today!
The Access and Outreach Fund supports the core work by our Schools Liaison, Outreach and Recruitment Officer, which includes targeted programming with our link schools in Lewisham and Sutton (London), Blackburn with Darwen, Blackpool, Cumbria and Lancashire – last academic year, Queen’s made 39 in-person school visits and spoke with over 800 students considering pursuing higher education and we opened our doors to even more students on inbound visits and Open Days. A large team of student volunteers works alongside our Schools Liaison, Outreach and Recruitment Officer to attract and inspire students to apply, especially from groups under-represented in Oxford.
Your gift to the Access and Outreach Fund will play a vital role in raising the aspirations of academically able students, and allow Queen’s to give these students an insight into life and learning at Oxford.
